Lord, You guide all creation with fatherly care.
As You have given all men one common origin,
bring them together peacefully into one family
and keep them united in brotherly love. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I clearly see that it is Your will for us to dwell in peace and safety.
In obedience to Your Holy Word, I continue to pray in the Name of Jesus
that those in authority will make decisions to keep our nation safe,
just as I pray for peace in other nations.

our nation continue to help other nations that are in trouble
and are less fortunate than we are. Restore good leaders in all positions
of authority in every country throughout the world,
that they may work together in peace and harmony with one another.

Relieve the suffering of those who live in countries where tyrants rule
with cruelty, discrimination, and unfairness. Rather, take these nations
under Your wing and open the hearts of their leaders
to Your Divine Will. O Father, I pray that every time
a national leader is replaced,
either through popular voting or appointment, that the new leaders will be wise
and just with the authority given them.

I pray that each national leader be understanding of the differences
in cultures and traditions among countries, and embrace each other
in a spirit of true peace. Turn their hearts toward You, O Father,
so that the greed for power and control of other countries and the people
of the world is a thing of the past.
Help us to look forward to a peaceful future,
with all peoples of this world uniting for the good of all, in peace and harmony.

In Jesus' Holy Name, I pray. Amen.

O God, Creator of the universe, who
extends your paternal concern over every creature and guides the
events of history in the goal of salvation, we acknowledge your
fatherly love when you break the resistance of mankind and, in a
world torn by strife and discord, you make us ready for
reconciliation.

Renew for us the wonders of your mercy: send forth
your Spirit that He may work in the intimacy of hearts, that enemies
may begin to dialogue, that adversaries may shake hands and peoples
may encounter one another in harmony.

May all commit themselves to
the sincere search for true peace which will extinguish all
arguments, for charity which overcomes hatred, for pardon which
disarms revenge.Amen.
